JSU INTERNSHIP

University Based Branding

During the Fall of 2022, I was fortunate to secure a position as a Graphic Design Intern with the Dean's Office of the College of Arts and Humanities at Jacksonville State University. In this role, my duties encompassed designing promotional materials for the university's numerous events. Additionally, I undertook the maintenance of the college's weekly newsletter and blog, ensuring a steady flow of updated and engaging content.

AALA Door Hanger

One of my initial assignments during my internship at the college involved designing a door hanger for the Academic Affairs Leadership Academy. The central theme of this design was to convey that the faculty members were diligently working on constructing the AALA - a significant endeavor focused on promoting student academic success. This message was communicated through the design.

Open House & Preview Day

Open House & Preview Day holds significant importance at Jacksonville State University as it provides an opportunity for prospective students to experience the university environment firsthand and explore the myriad opportunities JSU offers. My responsibility in this regard involved designing a variety of materials for these events, ranging from promotional items to signage and a comprehensive map for the event significant to the department of Arts & Humanities.

Kaleidoscope Re-Brand

Jacksonville State University annually honors its various art disciplines through a program known as Kaleidoscope, wherein each art discipline hosts a series of events over a month. The theme for Kaleidoscope 2023 is "Here and Back Again," covering areas like Music, Art, History, Creative Writing, Theatre, and Film. My task was to develop a proposal for the rebranding of the 2023 Festival of Arts, Kaleidoscope, which would subsequently be presented to the Board of Trustees.
